PRIVATE LESSONS
Guaranteed to deliver, scheduled with an instructor around your time, our private lessons are perfect, individualized moments in your day to focus on, enrich and improve your French in a quiet one-on-one setting. You can schedule a class with a friend or two as well!
PRICING
Members: $55 per hour / $495 for a package of 10 hours
Non-Members: $65 per hour / $600 for a package of 10 hours
OPTIONS
Classes can take place:
at the AFC school
online
at your home, workplace or preferred location (please note that a $10 fee per lesson will be charged if held more than 5 miles away from the AFC school)
NEW STUDENTS
1- A placement test is required before attending any of our classes for the first time. This test helps us to have a better idea of your level and allows teachers to prepare for your first lesson together. Click here to take the free online placement test.

semi-private lessons with specialty topics
Existing groups of students (more than 2 but less than 5) interested in a specialty class of their choice (for instance, business French, travel French, French for healthcare professionals etc…), should contact the AFC Executive Director to discuss potential options for semi-private/small group lessons.
POLICIES
Up to 2 people can attend a private class. Above 2 students, an additional fee will be charged per additional student per lesson: $10 per hour
Students must notify the Director as well as the teacher at least 24 hours in advance to cancel a lesson. We will then be able to credit you for the cancelled class. If you fail to do so, no credit or rescheduling will be possible and you will be charged for the full lesson fee.
Payment in full is required prior to the first lesson.
10-lesson packs and single lessons must be used within 6 months of purchase. No credit or refund will be given after 6 months
Private lessons are taught in 60-minute increments only. 30 minute or 45 minute-long lessons are not available.
