FEBRUARY 2012 ACTIVITIES

  • 2/3: French Speaking Luncheon at 12:00 pm at the Hamilton Restaurant, 101 West Main Street Charlottesville. RSVP Annette Hollo at (434) 972-2488 or annettehollo@earthlink.net
  • 2/16: French Speaking Tea at 2:30 pm at the Boar’s Head Inn. $10 per person. No RSVP required.
2/26: Supper with “Art”.  Join us for supper plus a staged reading in English of  “Art,” a play by Yasmine Reza, produced by AFC member, Jim Heffernan. Reading 4-5:30pm, Supper 5:30.  Tickets:  $40 per person.  Payment on-line (http://www.afcville.org/february-dinner-theater.html) or by check.  RSVP to rsvp@afcville.org.

  • 3/15: Monthly French Speaking Tea at 2:30 pm at the Boar’s Head Inn.  $10 per person.  No RSVP required.
  • 3/15:  Wreath Laying at 1:30pm in honor of James Madison's 261st Birthday Celebration.  Attend this poignant wreath presentation ceremony in the Madison Family Cemetery. Free admission to the grounds; special admission of $10 for mansion tours. For details:  http://www.montpelier.org/

  • 3/23:  Virginia Festival of the Book:  Presentation of book by AFC Board Member, Roulhac Toledano.  3pm at the JMU Library.
